MATAWHERO PIG SALE COMPETITION WEAKENS Competition in the pig section of the Matawhero stock sale yesterday was not as keen as at the previous sale and a number of good weaners carrying' a shade too much condition did not change hands. The yarding totalled 150 and the quality of the offering generally was good. " , The following values were realised. Weaners, small 5s to 10s, and good 13s to 16s; slips, 14s to 16s; stores, small 20s to 275, larger sorts 36s to 375; porkers, 30s to 38s; heavier porkers, 495; 1 boar, 20s; 1 sow and litter (p) 40s.
