STOCK MARKET GAINS SHIPPING AND TEXTILES (Reed. Sept, 2, 1.30 p.m.) TOKIO, Sept. 1. - A wave of buying swept over the Japanese stock market, apparently in the belief that a European war will benefit Japan. There were gains of one jo seven yen, notably in shipping and textile ■stocks.
