SWEDISH CATASTROPHE COLLAPSE *OF SCAFFOLDING THROWN INTO RIVER (Reed. Sept. 2, 10 •a.m.) STOCKHOLM, Sept. 1. It is feared that 32 persons are dead and seven severely injured as a result of thousands of tons of scaffolding collapsing at a concrete bridge under construction over the Anngermann River, north-east Sweden, last -night The mishap threw 40 people into the river, only eight of whom were saved, although thousands of workers rushed immediately to the scene.
