Parliament has been summoned for September 7 to consider Canada's role in the crisis. ' \ ' The Prime Minister, Mr. W. L. Mackenzie King, has summoned the Cabinet to meet at 9 a.m., and decided to convene Parliament in order to chart Canada’s course. The Government has completed plans to impose - a censorship on all Canadian publications and broadcasts. Outgoing cable messages are already under censorship. “Fight, if We Must “According to the latest reports I have received, the situation in Europe is hopeless,” said the Premier of Ontaria, Mr. Mitchell Hepburn, m a speech to-day in Hamilton, Ontario. '“When Parliament meets, I hope Canada’s voice will be heard in no uncertain way. If we must fight, let us fight as one man and put all adian resources behind Britain.”

Mr. Hepburn added that he believed Japan had (been given a free hand in the Pacific.

“We must think of our sister Dominions faced with the threat of Japanese invasion,” he added. “During my recent trip, I found that Australians and New'Zealanders have a higher standard of living than elsewhere in the world, but they are, few, and theirs is a very attractive bit of property for Japan."
