INCREASE IN GARRISONS
SOVIET WESTERN BORDER READY FOR SURPRISES (Reed. Aug. 30, 2.10 p.m.) MOSCOW, Aug. 29. The Tass Agency states* -that in view of the aggravation of the -situation an Eastern Europe and the possibility of all kinds of surprises, the Soviet command has decided to increase the strength of the garrisons on the western frontiers.
The Soviet Supreme Council will meet on Thursday.
