AMENDMENTS TO TERMS
REVISION BY COMMITTEE
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day
Amendments have been made to the Hire Purchase Agreements Bill toy the Statutes Revision Committee of the House of Representatives. Its report on the bill was presented in the House of Representatives yesterday by the chairman of committees, Mr. F. W. Schramm, who gave an explanation of the alterations. The definition of the term

A consequential amendment of a similar nature is made to the definition of a “hire purchase agreement". A new clause had been added to the bill whereby any person who sells or removes goods subject to a hire purchase agreement or by any other means attempts to defraud the vendor. shall be liable, on summary conviction, to a fine of £SO or imprisonment for three months. The report was l adopted.
