DRIVER SENT FOR TRIAL
FATAL ACCIDENT SEQUEL
CHARGE OF NEGLIGENCE
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Donald Alexander Nisbet, a truck driver, appeared before Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday charged with negligently driving a truck on Queen’s Drive, Lyall Bay, on July 18, thereby causing the death of Shirley Anne Blackburn. s
After evidence had been heard, Nisbet pleaded not guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial.
