MILLIONS FROM BRITAIN ADVANCE IN PRICE (Independent Cable Service.) (Reed. Aug. 29, 9 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 28. Within the past 48 hours, £20,750,000 worth of gold has left Southampton for Canada and America. The gold price to-day advanced by Gs to £8 Is an ounce.
The Stock Exchange committee announced that there were no dealings in American securities to-day.
