WOOL SALES POSTPONED

DECISION AT SYDNEY NEW SEASON OPENING (Reed. Aug. 29, 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, Aug. 28. The New South Wales Woolselling Brokers’ Association has decided to postpone the opening of the Sydney wool sales for a week because of the international situation.

The postponement was due to the unsettled international situation which, it ip officially considered, would affect prices, rendering it difficult to sustain values at the levels ruling at the close of the Australian June sales and thus would have an important bearing on future auctions.
