RIBBON PARADE
KENNEL CLUB FIXTURE YOUNCI DOGS FOR SHOWING With a view to creating wider in- f terest in the activities of the club, the Poverty Bay Kennel Club will hold a ribbbn parade in the New* Zealand Shipping Company’s store, Grey street, on Saturday, September 9, commencing at 2 p.m. This parade will be open to dogs of all types, especially young dogs and pups. Members of (the Kennel Club will show pups, with a view to creating keener interest, there will be none of the club champions paraded. It is felt by the executive of the. club that this step will help to swell the entries fbr the fixture and encourage breeders to exhibit dogs which are of maiden status. All breeds and classes will be judged by Mr. Fred Redfearn. Of interest io children is the information that special classes are being devoted to children’s pets and the children are urged to enter their own particular pets for these sections. Classes for crossbred dogs also will be Reid.
