INTERVIEW WITH HITLER

FLYING TO LONDON

Reed. 1.15 p.m. RUGBY, Aug. 25. It is reported from Berlin that the British Ambassador, Sir Nevile Henderson, saw Herr Hitler. As Sir Nevile Henderson received! no instructions from London to seek an interview with Herr Hitler, it was pressed Vtihat the meeting, took place on the latter’s initiative. Later it was stated in official quarters that Sir Nevile Henderson "who had a conversation to-day with Herr Hitler is flying to London to-morrow morning ip. order to make a report to the Foreign Secretary, Viscount Halifax.’’ Sir Nevile Henderson is not expected to make a long stay in Britain. A message from Berlin states that Herr Hitler also received the French Ambassador.
The German Foreign Minister, Herr von Ribbentrop, also received the Italian and Japanese Ambassadors.
