With less than five weeks to go to the opening of the Gisborne Operatic Society’s production, "The Cingalce.' rehearsals are in full swing, and an advertisement i*.i. to-night’s issue draws attention to the time and place for this week’s rehearsals. The producer, Mrs. Beth, requests that all rehearsals should Ibe fully attended, as it Is only ibv united effort and consistent practice that the best can toe achieved.
