Y.M.C.A. SPRING FAIR

THIS WEEK’S EFFORT STALE-HOLDERS’ POSTS Great interest and enthusiasm arc being shown by all who are connected with the arrangements for the Y.M.C.A. Spring Fair, which is to be held on Friday and Saturday at the Y.M.C.A. building, Fitzherbert street. The stalls and those responsible for them are as follows: —Atternoon tea, Mesdames R. Johnstone, J. 11. Lawton, W. R. Oxcnham, J. Short, and O. Solvandcr, and Miss W. Lysnar; books and second hand, Mesdames Paul Hockley, 11. D. Humphrey, and T. Adams; cakes, Mesdames W. G. Alexander, 11. W. T. Buckley, Gravin, and Samson; flowers and plants; Mesdames H. A. Armstrong, E. Jenkinson and F. Palmer; meat, Mesdames R. W. J. Edwards, A. F. Excell, 11. J. Poole, and C. H. Bull; novelty, Mesdames L. W. Anderson, Hope and C. E. Robinson, and Misses J. Green and E. Harries; provisions, Mesdames W. Carruthers, A. E. H. Parkinson, A. F. Salmon, J. Borham and J. O. Mus,grave; sweets, Mesdames A. IT. Collett, F. T. Robinson, Galvin, and Sarten; bran-tub. Mesdames G. Alexander, and J. L. Cowan, and Misses J. Wallis and M. Hockley. Much appreciated assistance is being given by the following members of the Y.M.C.A. board of directors: —Messrs. F. T. Robinson, actingchairman, W. G. Alexander, C. Allen, L. Grey Barton, W. Findlay, J. Forster, A. S. Muir, J. O. Musgrave, If. J. Poole, Primrose, Rhodes, A. F. Salmon, H. Berkley Tyerman, and Wallen.

Others helping arc Miss E. Dunn, hon. treasurer cf the Ladies’ Auxiliary, and Messrs. L. W. Anderson and T. Martin.

The fair will be opened officially at- 2.30 p.m. on Friday and will be open from 9 q.m. the followng day. as well as each evening. In addition to the well-stocked stalls, there will be novel entertainments and competitions. The organisers would be grateful if those members and friends who are making donations of cash or kind, could either leave them at the Y.M.C.A. before 10 a.rn. on Friday. or telephone 1404 or any stallholder. and they will be called for.
