MINER IN HOSPITAL SON ALREADY A PATIENT When his car capsized and rolled over as he was driving it along the Main South road near Hopa Hopa, a miner, John Kingi, aged 50, married, of Huntly West, suffered concussion. He was taken to the Waikato Hospital. His condition is not serious.

By a coincidence, Mr. Kingi was returning from visiting„his son at the hospital when the accident occurred. The son, Tonga Kingi, aged 10, was suffering from concussion received when he was knocked down by a car.
