GROOM IN “IRON LUNG”

WEDDING AT CHICAGO PRIDE 25 YEARS OF AGE OLD FRIEND OF FAMILY (Reed. August 11, 2 p.m.) CHICAGO, August 10. Mr. Fred Snite, the well-known victim of infantile paralysis, was married to-day reclining in his “iron lung.” About a dozen friends and relatives stood beside the respirator during the service, after which they attended the wedding breakfast at which the bride assisted her husband.

Mr. Snite, who has been living for nearly itwo years in the so-calied “iron lung,” obtained a license to marry Thersea Larkin, aged 25 years, his sister’s schoolmate. Miss Larkin was a frequent visitor to the Snite home both before and after Mr. Snite was stricken.
