BRITISH MINISTER’S VIEW ARM ED PEE PAR ATTON (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 9 a.m. RUGBY. Aug. 10. He added that there appeared at the moment to be no sign of that very substantial alteration of policy in certain quarters which alone could bring about an improvement and thereby make possible some reduction in Britain’s defence preparations. In a final allusion to the issue of peace or war, the Minister said: “We iiave, at any rate, made our position clear, and we can face the future with that fortitude and resolution which comes from a clear conscience and daily increasing strength.”
