PRIME MUTTON IN DEMAND OX BEEF VALUES DOWN Ox beef at the/Frankton sale yesterday <lid not attract as much attention as recently, but cow and heifer beef was well represented in the catalogue, and values in this section remained very firm. Boner cows, in average numbers, sold above schedule rates. CPrime wethers sold freely, and late rates were maintained with a tendency to harden. Steady competition developed, too, for several pens of prime fat ewes, and a good offering of fat hoggets brought schedule rates. S'ore hoggets were in short supply, and' no trouble was experienced in disposing of the offerings.
