(Per Preis Ax.octniior. . WANGANUI, this day. One of the most promising Rugby football players in Wanganui and a rUpj. in.en la live cricketer, M. Guy, aged 18, collapsed and died after playing in a Rugby football match on Saturday. Guy was -he full-back of Technical Old Boys senior XV and, in the dressing-room after the match, he jokingly pointed to a lump on his bead, asking his mates what they thought of it. He remained a spectator at Spriiggans Park for the remainder 01, Jhe afternoon watching the final for the championship, a matdh which was played later than that in which he had participated. In the early part of the evening, however, he showed symptoms of concussion. Gradually he went into a state of coma and, after being removed to 'hospital, he died. Guy had represented Wanganui at cricket since he was 15, being a good allround player and opening batsman.
