The Shanghai correspondent of The Times says that Japanese army officers are continuing to foster the anti-British feeling, telling the Chinese that the Tokio negotiations are proof of Britain’s inability to fight and that Australia is theirs for the taking of the Orientals' unite. A Pekin message states that two British, women missionaries were forced to strip for examination- at Ka-ifeng in the presence of Japanese or Korean women. They were accompanied by .another British missionary and a Dane who was trying to reach Pel;in from Siam. Air American woman, Mrs. Wilhoit, was partly stripped and searched while boarding a liner at Tsingtao.
