DEPORTATION ORDERED
ITALIAN ARRIVAL LANDED WITHOUT PERMIT (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. A prohibited 1 Italian immigrant, Genaro Valenzi, Who was arrested at Helensville yesterday, appeared in the Police Court to-day, charged with landing in New Zealand without a permit.
Through an interpreter, Valenzi said he had been misled in Sydney as to what to do to land in New Zealand.
The collector of customs said that Valenzi, on arrival, made it clear that he had come to reside. For 10 years he had lived in Townsville, Queensland, but he did not like that climate.
Tho magistrate, Mr. J. Mbrling. made an order for the deportation of Valenzi, who is to be kept in prison until he is placed on the next available ship to Sydney.
