Speaking in tine House of Commons to-day the Prime Minister, Mr. Neville Chamberlain, said fresh instructions were sent las', night to the British Ambassador at Moscow. Sir William Seeds, and he hoped to be in a position 1o make a 'statement in the House early next, week. Asked whether it were true, as stated in the press, that it had been agreed that a 'military and naval talk would take place at Moscow, Mr. Chamberlain replied: “We have sent certain instructions to Sir William, Seeds, but. we have not yet heard of the reactions.”

Asked if the French were sending a military mission, to Moscow, he replied: “I have sitated before that France rand Britain, are acting in close collaboration."
