BOMBERS OVER FRANCS MASS BRITISH FLIGHT (T<>l. Copyright—-Unltml Press Assn.) (Rec-d. July 27. 9 tun.) LONDON, July 25. The mass Royal Air Force flight made over France to-day wa-s participated in by at least 110 machines, the majority being Blenheim bombers. The planes dropped down from a great height to show their wings to the French cities and give the antiaircraft. gun crews practice. The flight coincided with the thirtieth anniversary of Bleriot's Channel flight. All the bomber battle formations safely relumed at 1.15 p.m. They had covered 850 miles. Squadrons of French lighters, cooperating with anti-aircraft crews, reared into the sky from military aerodromes throughput France to carry out interception manoeuvres. The bombers flew over Paris at halfI’ouriv intervals. Thousands of people crowded in the streets and watched lire mimic battle. The spellbound crowds saw the planes harrying the bombers to the horizon.
