Quotations: — Beef. —Heavy bullocks, to £l4 10s; light ox, £lO to £lO 10s; plainer sorts, £9 10s; small medium Polled Angus heifers, £7 to £7 ss; lighter, £G 15s to £6 17s Gd; plain cattle, £5 10s to £6; matured Shorthorn cows, £G 15s to £7 10s; Jersey cows, £5 7s Gd to f 5 15s; medium, £4 5s to £4 15s.
Sheep.—Heavy prime l’al wethers made £1 8s Gd to £1 11s Gd; medium fat wethers, £1 4s to £1 Gs 3d; -lighter, to 225; others, to 18s Gd: heavy fat ewes, £1 2s to £1 3s: medium. 17s Gd to 19s: lighter, 15s: best fat lambs, to £1 2s.' •
