Extra heavy prime steers made from £l3 10s £ls 7s Gd, heavy £l2 12s Gd to £l3 15s, medium £ll 10s to £l2 7. oci, light £lO 12s Gd to £ll 7s Gd, unfinished £7 10s to £9 12s Gd; extra heavy prime cows and heifers, £lO to .11, neavy £9 5s to £lO, medium £3 to £9, light £7 to £B, unfinished £5 to EG 10s.

Calves, in smaller numbers, made improved values. Prime quality was particularly well sought after. Runners made from £5 to £7 10s. heavy venters £5 to £G 2s, medium £4 5s to £4 17s, light £3 9s to £4 2s, small £2 15s to £3 ss, smaller £2 to £2 10s, bobby and rough 6s to 40s. A very small entry of pigs sold under keen competition, porkers rising sharply in price and baconcrs firming. Choppers made from 30s to 795. heavy baconcrs 80s to 91s, medium 75s to 795, light 70s to 735: heavy porkers 64s to 70s, medium 55s to 60s, light 36s to 51s, stores 30s to 40s, slips 20s to 28s, weaners 5s to 225. Baconcrs averaged Old to 7d per lb., and porkers 8d to 8 : ;d per lb.

Values..for sheep were very firm, despite,the heavy entry. Extra heavy prime wethers made from 29s to 31s 9d, heavy 29s to 30s 9d. medium 2Gs to 28s 9d, light 25s to 25s 9d. unfin-

ished 17s to 22s 9d; extra heavy prime ewes 26s to 27s fid, heavy 25s to 25s 9d. medium 23s to 24s Gd, light 18s to 22s 9d. unfinished 4s to 17s.

Lambs, in average numbers, sold steadily at late rates. Prime made from 17s to 25s Gd. and unfinished 5s Gd to 18s fid.
