Acting on medical advice, Fulke Walwyn, who rode Reynoldstown to victory 'in the Grand National in 1930, intends to give up riding and to apply for a trainer’s license under National Hunt Rules.
He wH! take over Marcus 1 Marsh’s stables at Lambourn, and several owners have promised to send horses to him.
Waiwyn's skull was fractured when Grosvenor Bridge fell at Ludlow in April.
He resigned a commission in the 9th Lancers to become a jockey, and first rode as an amateur.
