WELLINGTON, this day. “LbLy" Blomfield beat Paul Jones by two falls to one in a wrestling ojut last night, but Jones officially protested against the decision. Blomfield obtained .a fall in the fcartn round with an octopus clamp. In the seventh Jones pinned Blomfield while he held him breathless in a boa constrictor—like hook body scissors. He obtained the same hold in the last round which lasted a little mor e than a minute. Ju-t as Jones seemed certain of a fall Blomfield hooked a- foot over • ;K- ropes and rolled Jones onto his shoulders', in which position he held him for the count of three. Jones disputed jhc referee’s decision and afterwards lodged an official protest to the Wellington Wrestling Association. The bout was very rough.
