Richardo Morales, the Cuban champion. convincingly defeated Bruce Hall, a Toronto divinity student. 6—l. 6—2, 6—2. Hall lacked control. In the second singles match Ellis Tarshis (Canada) defeated Jose Agtiero (Cuba), 7 —5, 5—7, 6—3, 6—4. In the doubles, Morales and Toronto Nodarsc (Cuba) defeated Bill Pedlar and Phil Pearson (Canada), 9—7. ■!—o, o—4, 4—6, 6—l.
