LONDON WOOL SALES The Bank of Now South Wales has received the following advice from London: —“The London wool sales opened to-day with keen competition. Compared with the close of the last sale greasy Merino \vas 5 per cent, fine crossbred 5 to 10 per cent, and •medium and coarse crossbred 15 to 20 per cent dearer. Average or estimated prices of New Zealand greasy fleece ordinary .topmaking wools were: Merinos, 00/64's 10Jd; half-bred, 56/58’s llid; fine crossbred, 50/50’s llld; medium crossbred, 48/50’s Is; medium crossbred 46/48’s Is; coarse crossbred 44/46’s Is; coarse crossbred 40/44's Is.” N.Z.
