’PHONE BOXES ROBBED

HUTT VALLEY AREA LOCALITIES CUT OFF . (Per Preffi Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. For the second time within two weeks a number of slot telephone # boxes in the 'Mutt Valley area were robbed during the early hours of Sunday morning. In each case the heavy metal box containing the telephone and .receptacle for coins was wrenched from the wall and removed. Some 6£ the telephones had been installed only recently in replacement of Instruments removed two weeks ago. Because of the thefts some Idealities have been temporarily deprived of slot telephones.
