MANURE WORKS STRIKE UNION MOVE AWAITED ATTITUDE OF employers (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. No Change has taken place in the situation between the employers and the workers at the chemical manure works at Otahuhu, Westfield and Te Papapa. where the strike has been m progress for a week.

The workers engaged in the strike held meetings early yesterday morning outside the works of the Challenge Phosphate Company.- Limited, at Otahuhu, Kempthorne. Prosser and Company’s work at Westfield and the New Zealand Farmers’ Fertiliser Company’s -works at Te Papapa. The proceedings appeared to be informal and they were very short. At one the remark was made: “We will meet next Monday.” _
