WIN FOR BLOMFIELD
BOESCH OUTPOINTED FALLS EQUALISED (Per Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. Solid and spectacular wrestling was seen by almost a record crowd on Saturday night, when “Lofty" Blomfield defeated Paul Boesch on points. Blomfield submitted to a rolling short-arm scissors in the third round, but equalised in the seventh round with an octopus clamp that so weakened his opponent that he was no match in the last round.
