HIT-AND-RUN DRIVER
GIRLS HIT BY CAR POLICE PURSUIT FAILS (Per Press Association.) ■NEW 'PLYMOUTH, this day. Struck by a car as they stepped from the footpath, two girls, about 14 years of age. were thrown into the gutter and injured in the main street of Inglewood on Saturday evening. The motorist, who did not stop, Was pursued by a constable tor some distance and disappeared in the direction ot Now Plymouth. The victims were -Annie Kuklinski, who suffered a broken collarbone, and Miss O'byerne, who suffered shock.
