STAND WITH BRITAIN
AUSTRALIAN SUPPORT MR. MENZIES EMPHATIC (Reed. Juiv 3, 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, July 3. "I do not hesitate to say that, in the pursuit of its international policy, Australia stands with Britain and if the pursuit of that policy means trouble, or even if it means war, there need be no doubt that those troubles and endurance Of Britain’s trials will be .shared by Australia,” declared the Prime Minister of Australia, Mr. R. G. Menzies, in a public speech yesterday. He added that he had considerable faith in the Scottish proverb: “Creaking doors hang a long time” and it was his belief that the creaking doors of the world would keep hanging a 1 long time.
