GERMAN WAR CHARIOT NO CONCERN OF ITALY (Reed. July 3, 11.40 a.m.) LONDON, July 2. A message from Rome states that Italian wireless stations to-day broadcast a denial that Signor Mussolini and Herr Hitler met secretly last week. Although the Italian press takes the dutiful Romeßerli-n axis line in connection with the situation in Danzig, there is manifest uneasiness among the people as it is feared that Italy may be dragged into a catastrophe on the German war chariot on an issue which is really not Italy’s concern.
