Messages from Danzig state that the situation has not deteriorated though tension persists. Numbers of so-called German tourists continue to arrive, but the Polisli Government is calm and is fully satisfied with the British assurances.
The district Nazi leader, Herr Foerster, declared that the populace was united to a man in the wish to return to Germany and would do so, being prepared to make any sacrifice for this, including their lives.
