Goulbourn in the second innings lost 16 wickets for 165 and declared closed— Newton 52, Grogan 23, Clifford 28. Jones to 'k 4 wickets for 49, Braund 3 for 44, Robson 6 for 41, Quaife 3 for 12.
England in the second innings lost 4 wickets for 164 Tyldesley 39, Jones 41, Garnett 54. England won by six wickets.
