Dunedin, Nov. 12. Tom Hamer, the genial private secretary to the Premier, is about to pay a visit to the Old Country. He leaves Sydney by the China, in February, accompanied by his wife; Hamer has been granted six month’s leave of absenße.
It is understood that tho Ariadne trial, will not begin at Christchurch till December 17th. FreSh evidence front beyond the seas is being obtained by the CfoiVn.
