The Timber Duty. Sydney, This Day.
The Telegraph says with comical indignation New Zealand Ministers deny that the timber duty is retaliatory. No other name can be put to it. As to its c-ff.-ct from an Australian point of view, it is not likely to matter. It will probably be better for us to import from America Now Zealand is cutting off her own face to spite the Australian face.
