Received this day at 9 20 a. m. New York, Nov 7. The fusion between the Democrats and the Reform party of New York secured the election of all thoir candidates for various offices.
Low secured a plurality vole of 29,445. The punishment of leaders of Municipal corruption is promised. President Roosevelt telegraphed to Low congratulating the city on the overwhelming triumph of the forces of decency.
Schitz a union labour candidate was elected Mayor of Frisco. Massacheuott, Towa, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and New Jersey, chiefly returned Republicans while Mis sissippi, Virginia and Kentucky returned Democrats.
