Canterbury Show. Chbisxchubch, This Day,

The Canterbury show opened to-day. There is fine weather overhead, but a stiff nor’wester is making matters unpleasant. The opening day is an off day, when only implements of produc: ~’T be judged. Entries in these classes equal those of last year. The entries of sheep are nearly as many as last year, but there is a falling off in the number of cattle entered.
