The final acceptances for the Melbourne Cup are—Gaulcon, George Frederick, San Fran, Gunga Gin, Wakeful, Australian Colors, Carbinier, Hymettus, Khaki, Eevcnuc Gun Bearer, Grasspan, Haymaker, Eock Gun, Acetinc. Seaport, Flagship, Eoekleigh, Patronus
Melbourne Betting. Melbourne, Tin's Day
Betting on the Derby is limited. Grasspau is slightly easier. Hautvillers was backed to 7to Ibex 4to 1. For the Cup Hymettus is in great demand, and was supported for 3000 at 10 to 1, down to 7 to 1. Flagship was supported for a good stake at 100 to 8. Wakeful is not in favour, but Kevcnue has hardened to 3 to 1. Haymaker is supported at 100 to 8, San Fran 100 to 9. Derby betting is 9 to 4 Grasspan, 3 to 1 Hautvillicrs. Olliers are unchanged. • Cup—3 to 1 Revenue, 7to 1 Hymettus, 8 to 1 Australian Colors, 10 to 1 San Fran and Wakeful.
