Wellington This Day.

After the House rose a deputation of Auckland members interviewed the Premier and Postmaster-Coneral in the interests of the ’Frisco service. They asked that the old poundage rate of 10/5- be resorted in lieu 7/6- now proposed. Both Ministers expressed themselves favorable to a coniinuanco of the service, but said the question of an Ocean Mail Services was one for a majority of the House to decide.
