The return for the month of September for tbe gold mines under command of the above company are to hand, showing a total of £12,673 worth of gold from 6,911 tons of stone obtained as under : PROGRESS MINE. The total quantity of rock mined waa 4,667 tons. f he total yield being 1,6850zs sdwt 4gra of gold, valued at £6,995 18s 6d. 90 tons of concentrates were chlorinated, vielding bullion to the value of £l,lOl 6s. 883 tons of tailings were cyanided yielding bullion to the value of £277 16a Bd. WEALTH OF NATIONS. During the month 988 tons of quartz were crushed, yielding 3410zs Bdwt 4gra gold valued at £1412 11s 6d. 6 tons of concentrates were produced, and 681 tons of coarse sands cyanided, tbe latter yielding bullion to the value of £454 5s Bd, GOLDEN FLEECE, During the month 1,137 tons of quartz were crushed, giving a return of 4770zs sdwt 21gr bullion valued at £1,926 Is 7d, 1,105 tons of tailings were cyanided, producing bullion to the value of £sll 8a 4d, and tons of concentrates were saved.
