RECONSTRUCTION OF CABINET
(OUR PARLIAMENTARY RETORTSH.)
Report Affirmed and Denied
Wellington, This Dayi
The report that had been in circulation in tho lobbies for some day past that the Hon T. Y, Duncan contemplated resigning his portfolio is authoritatively contradicted by the Hougenthman himself. Ihs report gained currency in consequence of the Minister of Lands having been in indifferent health since his attack of influenza last month.
The Premier also denies that any of his colleagues intend vacating office. Those who were responsible for the report, now say that theire will be a complete reconstruction of the Cabinet in the recess. In coming to this conclusion, they assume that the Right Hon the Premier intends quitting the colony before Parliament again assembles
