FATAL FIRE IN WELLINGTON

0 Wellington This Day. A fire occurred during the night in a boarding House known as Whitehall, the back rooms of which were gutted. A servant named Lily Pine, aged 19 was afterwards found dead in the damaged kitchen. She had been sleeping in an adjacent room aud could have got through the door leading immediately into the street, but seems to have lost her way and run right into the smoke and was suffocated.
