Hew South Wales Parliament
Sydney, September 19. The Legislative Assembly, has been sitting continuously since yesterday evening discussing the Industrial Arbitration BUI in Committee.
Mr Crick announced that they were going to put the Bill through, and if necessary use effective means to do so. He would not adjourn unless Government was defeated.
This led to trouble, and the Opposition kept up- .the stonewall throughout the day. The debate was of the most dreary description no real opposition being made on the plain principles of the Bill. The closure was several times applied. A number of lively scenes occurred. Later. In the Assembly the Arbitration Bill went through committee. The House adjourned at 5 o’clock.
