Colonel Ricardo, who went to Africa in charge of the First Queensland Contingent. The alledged libel is in a cartoon imputing cowardice to Bicardo. It is admitted that he was severely reprimanded by Hutton for the ragged condition of the men, but the censure was made in a moment of rage, and aftrrwards recalled by Hutton.
