[PBB PRESS ASSOCIATION.] A Scow in Difficulties. Gisborne, August 11. The scow Ururoa, which had put back owing to bad weather, went on the beach early this morning, having missed stays. She is in a comfortable position and in no apparent danger, and should be refloated without great difficulty. The material was not ready in time for an attempt by to-day’s tide. Earthquakes. Napier This Day, A severe shock of earthquake was experienced here at two this morning. Wellington, This Day. Two earthquakes were felt in the city last night. A slight one at 1.40, and a more violent at 1.57. The shocks seemed to come from North-east.
