THE DRUIDS SOCIAL.

The Druids Social took place last night. Instrumental music was given by Mr and Mrs Hodgkinson, Masters F. Garth and Evans. During the evening vocal solos were given by Misses Chapman, Hilderbrand and Holmes, and Messrs Staples and Bedmond, and recitations by Messrs Barltrop and Craig. All the items were received with applause. The accompaniments, which were rendered by Mrs Hodgkinaon and Misses Hildebrand and Schaef, were played in an admirable manner. After refreshments had been served the Chairman (A.D., Bro. Rogers) Pin a very able speech presented P.A., Bro. Joseph M'Brearty with a diploma, handsomely framed, and also on behalf of a few of the members he (the Chairman) presented to Bro. Joseph M'Brearty a framed membership certificate. Bro. M'Brearty suitably responded. The singing of the National Anthem brought a most successful evening to a closo.
