Adjutant Ward gave an excellent address on the social work of the Army, and said that the Ambulance Brigade was to wounded of the battle, so the roscue work is to those who have fallen in the battle of life also speaking of those who have by force of circumstances gone down, powerfully described the beseiged garrison at Ladysmith, and the relieving party, and said what Don. The Salvation Army is a relieving force to those who cannot help themselves, The Adjutant carried the people with him, as he spoke of the need of Army Rescue work.
